This home in Surrey had settlement under it’s front walkway. This caused the concrete walkway to sink as well as develop huge voids under the slabs. 

This homeowner contacted True Level Concrete because they were concerned about the trip hazards this settlement created as well as the structural instability of the walkway. Knowing that this issue was only going to progressively get worse, this homeowner organized concrete walkway repair before the slippery, frosty season.

THE PROCESS

Our team of installers arrived on-site, checked and cleared the area, and then got ready to work! 

Step by step

The process was as follows:

1. Our crew drilled small portholes into the walkway slabs
2. We injected PolyLevel foam under the slabs, monitoring the lift, ensuring it lifts evenly and fits level with the front steps and community sidewalk
3. Once the slabs were lifted and levelled, our crew injected PolyLevel under the sides of the slabs to fill the voids
4. Our crew filled and sealed the holes in the slabs and then topped it with matching sand to blend in
